Who left Celebrity SAS 2022 last night?
The famous recruits continued to take on gruelling tasks on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins – but was anyone eliminated?
The 2022 season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continued last night, with the number of famous recruits beginning to dwindle as we approach the intense season finale.
Last night saw the remaining contestants head into the penultimate challenge, where they prepared for life on the run behind enemy lines and tried to stay strong when given messages from home.
However, despite making it this far in the competition, another celebrity quit the show, leaving us with seven recruits – all of whom will be facing the dreaded interrogation challenge next week.
But who out of the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022 line-up became the fifth contestant to quit the gruelling challenge?
Here's everything you need to know about the latest eliminations, including which stars are left in the competition.
Who left Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022?
Jonathan Broom-Edwards became the latest celebrity to leave the show in Sunday's (9th October) episode, with the Paralympian taking off his armband during an hour-long beasting.
The gold medallist had been struggling with his ribs after going up against Calum Best in the murder-ball challenge.
"It was a f**king honour working with you," instructor Remi Adeleke said after he quit. "When you win a gold medal next time, you better give me credit for busting your a**."
On Sunday 2nd October, Jennifer Ellison and Fatima Whitbread left the Channel 4 show, with the duo being stripped of their armbands following performances.
Their exits come after the Curtis Pritchard and Dwain Chambers left the show during Sunday 25th September's episode. The 2022 season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins suffered its first withdrawal when TOWIE star Pete Wicks was forced to pull out of the competition in the second episode (which aired on 11th September) after breaking his ribs during a challenge.
Wicks was jumping from a helicopter alongside Ashley Cain when he was knocked unconscious and eventually managed to swim back to shore. However, viewers later learned that he had broken his ribs and was unable to continue in the series.
